Rokenes Gard

Do you want to spend time in a quaint farm during your Harstad getaway? Head over to Rokenes Gard to spend some quality time in nature's lap.
Rokenes Gard, a farm known to be the pearl of the north, is located within Norway’s profound natural beauty with a scenic waterfront adjacent to it. This estate is owned by the Kulseng family, who have been running it for ten generations. As you take a tour of the estate, you will come across the stabburet, or storehouse, the oldest building on the farm dating back to the early 1700s. The Rococo-style building is the farmhouse that was built around 1750. It is home to typical Norwegian furniture and décor that have passed down many generations of the Kulsengs. Rokenes Gard is not just an attraction but also a venue where private functions are often held. There is a banquet hall and art gallery in one of the buildings that once was a large, modern, and well-equipped cowshed. Outside the farm, there is a wide-spread nine-hole golf course facing the nearby fjord with spectacular views. Rokenes Gard is the perfect relaxing spot with so much to offer when you want to take a break from the city’s bustling life.
