Northern Lights viewing in boathouse
Enjoy the breath-taking Northern Lights with your loved ones from Elgsnes Beach, and stay warm in a rustic wooden boathouse or “Båtnaustet”, as it is called while waiting for the Northern Lights to play on the firmament.
On this unique Northern Lights experience, you will be able to witness the Aurora Borealis in a whole new way- from the sandy beach while the Northern Lights are reflected in the sea. You can rent the boathouse for your group and use it for the night. The boathouse is equipped with tables and benches so you can rest your feet while waiting for the Northern Lights to show up. You can also have dinner there with prior notice. The boathouse also comes equipped with patio heaters and a wood stove to keep you warm during the winters. A high standard washroom with hot and cold water is also available for use during the experience.
