With a height of 856 metres above sea level, the Hattfjellet mountain stands tall on the island of Grytøy. It is a popular hiking destination, especially during the winter season. Hattfjellet serves as the perfect vantage point for the views of the nearby archipelago, including the island of Andøy. Many walking trails lead to this mountain through the coastal village of Grøtavær. Guided tours are available with the locals from whom you can learn a lot about the rural life in the mountains.
